Trend Spotter: Booming Industries

If you like to watch trends you will start to see some interesting developments. After observing some industries lately I came up with what I think is booming right now.
Niches with explosive growth potential
Yoga - this is a specialty niche and focuses on health and wellness through fitness. I have seen many Yoga product sites online that sell Yoga clothing and accessories. One area that has a potential for growth is Yoga for Men. Also Yoga for Seniors is a micro-niche because doctors are encouraging aging adults to use the poses in Yoga as an alternative medicine to joint pain.
Baby Learning Tools - the interesting thing about the new generation of parents is that they want to have intelligent babies. At the tender age of only a few months old babies can read books and solve math problems. I would imagine that learning toys being very popular products online.
eCommerce Dropshipping - after the big fallout from affiliates for big brand name companies, marketers are now looking at how they can sell products directly from wholesalers. Buying goods and services for less and then marking them up for a profit is the benefit of starting a online ecommerce store.
Online Education - currently high school students are able to take courses online and study from home to pass tests. Schools are overcrowded and with federal budget cuts they can not hire more teachers. So this opens up distance learning for educators who teach in virtual classrooms.
Backyard Gardens - people are trying to become more self sufficient and one way to do this is to grow your own food. Organic farming and home-based vegetable gardening has become increasingly popular among large families. Even those who do not have much land can use technique called hydroponics which makes it possible to grow vegetables without soil.
Storage Unit Auctions - when individuals can not afford to continue to pay the monthly fee on their storage, then the facility will keep everything left behind. This opens up an opportunity for treasure hunters to bid on these units. The downside is that  you will not know what is inside until you have bought it. You may end up with a few resaleable electronics or just left with some junk.
Baby Beauty Pageants - in our world of superficial beauty, we can not escape the hold it has on the masses, especially moms of babies and toddlers who want to help their children become famous.  Interestingly enough there is no regulations and pageant owners can set up shop in any state or town and charge exorbitant fees to parents who want enter their kids into pageants to win money and prizes.
As you notice there are many exploding niche industries going on right now and if you are an entrepreneur you may be able to profit from the trends.
